About the Role:
Monarch is on the lookout for a dynamic SEO Manager to join their Marketing team during an exciting phase of hyper-growth! 🚀 Reporting directly to the Head of Search and Affiliate, you'll take charge of our organic content, scaling it across both traditional search engines and emerging platforms like ChatGPT. This role is a unique blend of editorial excellence and performance marketing, where you'll create content that drives conversions and coordinates with product and engineering teams to maximize its impact.
What You’ll Do:
Own the Organic Content Strategy: Develop and enhance content to support business objectives, creating new material and updating existing content.
Monitor Rankings & Algorithm Updates:Stay ahead of the curve with a testing calendar to optimize our strategies.
Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders: Ensure that our website structure is optimized for organic search success.
Track & Report KPIs: Keep a close eye on business and diagnostic metrics.
Expand Organic Reach: Optimize content for discovery engines like ChatGPT and other AI assistants.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience: 3-5+ years in creating web content and managing a content calendar.
SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and search intent.
Proven Success: Demonstrated experience in driving organic search traffic through iterative testing.
Tools Proficiency: Experience with Ahrefs, SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, Google Search Console, and web analytics.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with updating websites via a CMS and basic HTML.
Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, cross-functional collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have:
Experience in optimizing app store listings.
Understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and content's role in it.
Experience with off-page SEO.
Background in fintech or a high-growth startup environment.
