Job Description

Wipro is seeking a Lead Social Media Manager to join their dynamic team supporting Microsoft Cloud Marketing Social and Blog. This role involves driving impact for one of our leading client teams within Designit, a part of the Wipro ecosystem. Join a world-class, highly visible social team of over 70 experts managing 100+ social media channels and 20+ marketing blogs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Expertise: Serve as the primary social media expert for a portfolio of solutions.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for both organic and paid social media.

  • Content Strategy: Utilize audience insights and platform trends to guide content strategy.

  • Creative Approval: Approve creative content and copy for campaigns.

  • Integrated Marketing: Align with blog, event, and community teams to ensure cohesive messaging and lead integrated marketing initiatives as needed.

Execution & Collaboration

  • Campaign Management: Manage social amplification for demand generation campaigns.

  • Performance Insights: Present strategies and performance insights to stakeholders.

  • Data Translation: Collaborate with analytics teams to translate data into actionable recommendations.

  • Coordination: Work with internal teams, agencies, and vendors for execution.

  • Creative Development: Oversee creative development with design and copy teams.

  • Team Management: Potentially manage 1–2 direct reports.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years in B2B tech marketing; 2+ years in social media strategy.

  • Leadership: 2+ years managing and developing teams.

  • Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of major social platforms and digital marketing.

  • Skills: Excellent data interpretation, stakeholder collaboration, and communication skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud). Microsoft and social listening experience is a plus.

  • Mandatory Skills: Content Development.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Expected Salary: $80,000 to $158,000 annually.

  • Benefits: Eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental benefits, disability insurance, and paid time off, among others.
