About the Role 📋

Position: Customer Support Representative
Schedule: Thursday to Monday, 4:00 pm ET to midnight ET (Weekends required)
Location: Fully remote (Nationwide)
Compensation:

• U.S.-based employees: $15/hour or the state minimum wage, whichever is higher

• International candidates: Compensation aligned with local average wages for this role and skillset

Key Responsibilities 🛠️

• Provide high-volume live customer support for contest entrants via email and live chat using tools like Zendesk and Intercom

• Handle support requests and escalate issues to the appropriate parties

• Monitor for critical site issues and escalate to ensure quick resolutions

• Resolve inquiries related to sporting rules, accounts, and billing issues

• Assist with verifying user identities during sign-up, gameplay questions, withdrawal status, and more

Qualifications 🎓

• Experience: 2+ years in a customer support or operations role (experience in sports, tech, or start-ups is a plus)

• Skills: Ability to manage high-stakes, time-sensitive inquiries with empathy and professionalism

• Knowledge: Must have a passion for sports, sports gaming, and technology

• Location: Must be located in EST, CST, MST, or PST time zones

• Tools: Experience with customer support tools like Zendesk and Intercom

• Communication: Outstanding written communication skills
