Patient Support Tier 1 Specialists answer questions about the following:

✅ General patient inquiries

Employees work closely with leadership and other departments to ensure patients receive fast, accurate, and professional assistance.

📋 Responsibilities

As a Remote Patient Support Tier 1 Specialist, you'll:

📞 Answer inbound patient phone calls

📧 Respond to emails

💬 Assist patients via SMS

📝 Explain prescription order updates

💰 Answer pricing questions

🔐 Help patients with My.Phil account access

📚 Use Zendesk Knowledge Base to locate answers

🤝 Collaborate with teammates to resolve patient concerns

📈 Meet quality and productivity goals

📞 Make outbound calls when additional information is needed

⭐ Performance Expectations

After the first 90 days, specialists are expected to:

⭐ 85%+ Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)

✅ Less than 1% error rate

📞 Complete approximately 10 tickets/calls per hour

⏰ Maintain 94%+ schedule adherence

✅ Qualifications

Applicants should have:

✔ At least 1 year of customer service experience

✔ Previous call center experience preferred

✔ At least 1 year of healthcare experience

✔ Insurance or enrollment experience preferred

✔ Strong written communication skills

✔ Excellent phone etiquette

✔ Ability to multitask across multiple software systems

✔ Strong computer and technical skills

✔ Great attention to detail

✔ Adaptability in a fast-paced environment

✔ Professional attitude when handling frustrated patients

🕒 Schedule

Patient Support hours are:

  • Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM PST

  • Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM PST

Employees receive a regular assigned schedule but must be available for shifts during business hours.

Occasional overtime and holiday shifts may be required.
